This year of 2008 shower our family with a bundle of joy, a cute baby boy - our 1st grandson. The first child of my beloved daughter Ida Munira and her husband Mohd Amin. On the early part of 2008, we have Aisyah Mariah the first child of my dear son Zulfahmie. The year 2008, in fact a double joy to me and my wife having both of them, a grand daughter Aisyah Mariah and a grandson Mohd Danish. This is life worth living, seeing the family tree blooming, extending its canopies of a growing generation. Soon I will be retiring, may time will permit me to be with them, holding their hands, showering them with a grandfatherly love, which I never have during my younger day.
May Allah SWT grant me the opportunity, to guide them, teach them alphabets and numbers so with the godly sentences of muqaddam and Al Quran. God Willing.
Mohd Danish - Realized into this world on the 12th September 2008, at Sultan Ismail Hospital, Johor Baru, Malaysia. Weighing at about 3.6 Kilogrammes.

Not able to update this fotopages for rather a long time, busy maybe or just been lousy in managing oneself. However, health issue taking the toll since then. Feeling nausea sort a balance disorder kind of problem. I used to have that very much long time ago, somewhere in mid 80's - it's vertigo. My system seem to be succeptibled of any ENT - ear, nose and throat infection.
Anyhow, I am grateful to Allah SWT for only testing me with this sort of health disorder. Not those type of terminally kind of deseases. Alhamdullilah!!!!

So, to those that are familiar with me, Again by grace of Allah SWT, my first grand child was born. A cute baby girl of my elder son Zulfahmie and his wife Illa. Another new member expanding the family tree.

Attending Juma'at in Chiang Mai Thailand

Infront of Chiang Mai Mosque
The Few muslim halal restoren own by a Lebanese.
Chiang Mai, despite being predominantly buddhist town we managed to find a mosque within the town centre. After performing our Friday paryers, we have the opportunity to mingle around with our muslim brothers which is a minority. Most of them are from the Pattani malay from southern most province of Thailand and those from Pakistan, India and Middle East.

Friday is sort of a small flea market within the mosque compound, with vendors selling their wares, snack and food. Such a colorful fair, not like most mosque in Malaysia, where you hardly observe these kind of actvity.

We can feel the real freedom here, with no restriction or the religous council to monitor what you do. In actual fact that should be the universal function of a mosque in Islam.

Apart from attending the obligatory Friday prayer, the best time for you to meet with others and with hive of business activity after the prayer within the vicinity of the mosque.

If I am not wrong, only Masjid Kg Baru in KL have these kind of environment.
